Rick joined Guardtech Pty Ltd in 2017 as Project Director before being appointed to the role of General Manager. Rick is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business including the growth of the business.
Rick has over 30 years’ experience in the corporate sector with a strong track record of leading and developing teams.
Prior to joining Guardtech, Rick held many senior roles in which he managed key deliverables for positions he held in Customer Service, Statistical/Business Analytics, Project Management and I.T. Rick also served on the board of the AAMI Staff Superannuation Fund for 11 years as a member elected Director.
Kate joined Guardtech in 2017, first starting in the Service Department to quickly become an Executive Assistant providing administrative support. With over 6 years’ experience in professional office assistant positions, Kate works alongside the Director and General Manager helping develop and implement changes within the business. Kate provides system support to staff and external clients ensuring that day to day duties run smoothly. Kate has obtained multiple certifications across different fields such as: Multimedia, Retail Operations, Hospitality and Cert III & IV in Business.
Aaron Goldsmith brings to Guardtech a strong focus within the Security Industry. In the past 5 years Aaron has worked for the Shell Refinery as a Security Manager and the Victorian Government Department of Environment Land Water and Planning as the building Security Manager/Chief Warden.
Aaron Goldsmith has a can-do attitude whose primary focus is his ability to achieve success in customer service. Working in a timely manner, meeting and exceeding customers expectation by achieving deliverables within the required time frame and within budget. All the while offering customers new and innovative solutions to suit their business needs.
Sam Megson has been in the Security Industry for over 12 years, he has had 10 years+ experience as a Security Technician and has been in his role as National Technical Manager for over 2 years.
Sam has extensive knowledge in all aspects of CCTV, Alarms and Access Control systems. He has worked on many systems that are on the market with Tecom, Concept, Integriti and CCTV IP Systems to name a few. He has a genuine passion for the industry has been a valuable asset to the company since 2017.
Gary has extensive corporate and compliance experience including being a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (ICAI). He enjoys a reputation for building productive working relationships across executive leadership teams, operations, stakeholders and customers. Gary has previously held several finance and reporting related positions, serving as reporting manager at Serco and an accountant at Genpact. He has experience in financial analysis, forecasting, excel modelling, pricing strategies and implementing internal controls to ensure adherence to compliance.
Some individuals seem to be able to build relationships, trust and rapport with people and have the motivation to create a momentum to “getting things done.” Leyann Coffin is one of these people and thrives on “getting things done” by delivering solutions through collaboration and accountability. As a Service Delivery Team Leader in our Guardtech team, this is what she is all about. With an enthusiastic and genuinely friendly attitude, Leyann radiates a sincere passion for delivering value and benefits to our clients. Her previous long banking career accelerated to successful Management roles Nationally and Internationally with one of Australia’s major banks.
With over 25 years’ experience in the electronics, Hillel has a wealth of knowledge and experience in AV with a specialty in harsh environment microphone systems, PA and paging, BGM, Major antenna distribution networks, custom audio, multizone and home theater, projection systems, video walling, CCTV, Alarm, Access Control, Automation, electrical, lighting, fencing, consulting, data and wireless technology. Hillel also has experience in Project Management of large national and international rollouts and turnkey solutions. Hillel is now focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI) and CCTV camera analytics and their applications in the real world as solutions.
Dean has been in the security industry for over 20 years, working with various sectors from domestic alarm systems to Government Departments. Dean has also worked on high rise building management systems and businesses in the South Pacific. Dean’s knowledge in alarm systems ranges from Tecom, Concept, Integriti and has worked with CCTV systems such as Dvtel, Milestone, MEA, Hikvision, Dahua, and more. Dean oversees the South Pacific Operations and frequently visits to meet our client’s needs.
